SPECULATIVE LITERATURE FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES TRAVEL GRANT
The Speculative Literature Foundation (SLF) is pleased to announce its
first annual travel grant of $600, designed to assist writers (fiction,
poetry, drama, creative non-fiction) in their research. The grant is
designed to help cover airfares, lodging and other expenses involved in a
research trip.
The grant will be awarded by a committee of SLF staff members on the basis
of interest and merit. The successful writer will be expected to produce a
brief report of their research experience for possible public
dissemination. For full details on how to apply for the grant, please see
the SLF web site: http://www.speculativeliterature.org/Awards/SLFTravelGrant.php, or email
travel@speculativeliterature.org. Applications must be received by
September 30th 2005.
SLF's activities are funded entirely by memberships, donations and
fund-raising events. A number of established writers have kindly given
their time for free at fund-raising events.
